Data Clinic Ltd – About Us

Data Clinic was founded in 2002 by Chris Seeley and became a Limited Company in 2003. Specialists at retrieving data from all types of hard drive and phone storage media, today Data Clinic Ltd has grown into the UK’s largest and most technically capable data recovery company, employing 10 people.

We have recovered data for rock stars, film stars, TV stars, Formula 1 teams, celebrity chefs, film companies, renowned authors, notable photographers, script and screen writers, universities, premiership football clubs, international rugby teams, blue-chip corporations and businesses both large and small.

Data Clinic’s Chairman

Data Clinic’s Chairman is Professor Steven Broomhead MBE.

Steven’s MBE was awarded for his leadership and Chairmanship of the National Libraries Taskforce; where he provided invaluable guidance and insight to create sustainable library services across the country.

Steven is part-time Chief Executive of  Warrington Borough Council, and has held many Chairmanships and Chief Executive positions including being the Chief Executive of the North West Development Agency with responsibility for economic development and regeneration of the North West; Chairman of Warrington Wolves Rugby Super League Football Club; Chairman of Recycling Lives, a total waste management service that creates social value through training and support programmes for people who are homeless and for the rehabilitation of offenders; and redistributes food to support community groups. Chairman of the North West Waterways Partnership and sat on the board for Health and Wellbeing for Warrington, and Chair of Entrepreneurial Education at Liverpool Hope University.

Steven describes himself as a realistic optimist, ‘Entrepreneurs cannot develop businesses and be successful without a real set of values which are basically around optimism and creativity, and to be agile in development as a business.’

Sport Sponsorship

For several years we have sponsored Derbyshire Cricket Club. Derbyshire County Cricket Club is one of eighteen first-class county clubs within the domestic cricket structure of England and Wales. It represents the historic county of Derbyshire. Its limited overs team is called the Derbyshire Falcons in reference to the famous peregrine falcon which nests on the Derby Cathedral.
